Oh, Holy sweet Jesus, anything You give, I embrace, good or bad
Accomplish what You desire. I rest in Your divine plan
Compassion and solace are boundless as You heal throughout generations
We humbly implore deliberation from the evils that chain us
Raise up the sick and make them well, body and soul, from the head to their feet
It is well with my soul any suffering we must endure which do not compare to Your love
Father, we adore You, we stand firm in faith, heed our cries
You never said there wouldn’t be trouble, but I am grateful for Your grace
That the storms we bear lead to divine perfection
Modern-day martyrs are those who turn over their lives to You
Keep us close and accept this offer from us, too
Bobby tells me my brother’s cancer is a slow and painful death
Javier will not go through this alone. God, I pray that I can do my best
That I act with the spirit according to Your most perfect will
To be perplexed but not driven to despair, lend me Your strength and courage (2 Corinthians 4:8)
Be my guide every breath I take; cover him with Your precious blood
Dear Jesus please have mercy, come down from the cross
And with Your healing touch remove all three cancers should You desire
Create another miracle or provide a holy death, not mine but Your will, please
A saint said the bigger the cross, the higher the place in Heaven He has reserved for us
That one day we will envy those who get to suffer to His glory
Help us to care for his body and soul, reminding him You’re in control
That he is loved, and precious in Your sight is the death of Your holy ones (psalm 116:15)
No matter how difficult it gets, God will make it right in this life or the next
And I pray I get to see a Saint in my brother before he passes be it His will
The darkness is light to Him as the result is always good (psalm 139:12)
It wasn’t by chance someone just gifted me a book about God’s passion
If His suffering saved so many souls, can we offer our own for the same?
Is God arming me for battle, the cross that sanctifies and brings us to our knees?
You, God, are what I seek, making us whole, the One we miss, answering our pleas
