The enemy is out to attack children and marriages, as told in the Bible.
It is one of the signs that we are presently experiencing the last act.
Love is meant to endure, bear, hope, and believe so we don’t give up.
Through sickness and in health means we are in it together, forever.
God said, we are not against flesh and blood but principalities of darkness.
We have a choice in everything, but Satan is cunning and conniving.
Easily we can be used and abused, evidenced by the remorse it brings.
Made weak by original sin, we need God’s constant help.
The Spirit desires to do good, but the passions of the flesh are strong.
Only Christ can sanctify; show us how to be, so we can belong.
To the brave and chosen, God paves the way by thorns and roses
As He brightens our day, rain or shine, so long that we pray.
At times, hard to take or accept; Jesus could have felt the same.
He didn’t hold back for us as we do for kids; let’s also do for each other.
Whether a colleague, friend, child spouse, sister, or brother.
Makes no difference, but how valiant it is to turn the other cheek.
Not self-interest or approval but the king of the Heavens we seek.
Trust His plan; we were assigned to our loved ones by His mighty hand.
To Him we surrender and persevere even though we don’t understand.
What awaits the last ones standing is His promised land.
