God is the Cure

#MercifulPouringGrace

What impresses us the most, an image of a smiling Jesus or one of His sacrifice?

Had it not been for the suffering Christ took on there would be no salvation

As such we carry on the torch of the cross toward our sanctity

When the storm hits hard nonstop God is holding us and providing

These trials are meant for growth and eased by focusing on blessings

That whatever comes our way we place our trust in Him

We don’t expect God to help if we don’t help ourselves lest we test Him

But do our part as best we can for He always has a better plan

Trust that He will take good care of us regardless of how heavy the cross

One way or the other there will be a gain from every loss

Be it what He wills, even if it is death as this is His mercy as well

Oh how darkness hurts and we may not understand the reason for it

Saving grace is to count the blessings left even if we don’t feel right

And when the positive aspect of the cross is not evident, focus on His face

To know He is there for us and we can count on Him, no greater grace

We will get to a place where we love any trial as His perfect providence

And tears no more as He promised when He is all we need, Revelations 21:4

When He is ever present in our souls and that God is all we see

Seems impossible, but ask and we receive, then comes the joy, John 16:24

It takes self-denial and the cross to follow Him which makes us holy, Matthew 16:24

He stops at nothing to save our souls. No greater love than offering up His son, John 3:16

For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul? Matthew 16:26

And what if we must endure pain for our loved ones and sinners?

Be it due to our action or inaction we can still ask that it helps others

When we live for others for His sake we are on the right track

If we were to imitate Christ wouldn’t the cross make more sense?

Be willing to be humiliated, misjudged, and bear injustice for the love of God

If it’s difficult, we remind ourselves, “Jesus this is for You”

Of Dear God, if agony helps in spiritual growth bring on the rain

To Your glory that loving You is what we most look to gain

Much love and God bless,
