God is the Cure

#MercifulPouringGrace

I have a daily routine for which I find punctuality important.
Being a creature of habit, I am flexible when it comes to people nonetheless.
We should always prioritize the person over the thing or responsibility.
If it happens differently or not as I hoped for I accept it as His will.
At a church we go to one day a week, the priest starts late to finish confession.
Like Christ, he is there for those in need over the righteous.
The one we go six days, the priest is stopped promptly ten minutes till.
The difference is the other priest doesn’t have someone pressuring him to do so.
If not able to receive the Eucharist one might think, I can just watch mass on Tv.
Considering God is in the soul, not a building and church is to receive Him.
Or get discouraged, and think they are a terrible sinner that doesn’t belong.
“We can’t claim to love God if we don’t love, adore and respect our neighbor.”
Those were the opening words of the priest in mass that day.
We may not know much, but this we do, we must love one another as He does us.
Are we living by our words or loving more complying with expectations?
Or judging the circumstances missing an opportunity to be forgiving?
If we don’t act in the spirit according to His word, will we know peace?
We can pretend, speak of it and sing but God knows our actions and effort.
I know the priest prefers to be there for others but it’s not up to him.
If the rules conflict with God’s precepts they should be re-examined.
We can miss the forest for the trees, so pray that we prioritize Christ.
We put others before ourselves and it’s critical we have heart.
In a world so fast-paced with wolves in sheep’s clothing hard to tell apart.
But by the fruits, what results from the actions, and were they worth it?
If not to glorify God, what are we aiming for, to get by or just do things right?
Or to serve and exemplify Christ as a beacon of light.
Much love and God bless,
Aimee Cabo 😌❤️🙏
