Many miracles happen daily if only we could take notice
Not all of them are obvious without a doubt and some are quite evident
I had a different blog in mind but was moved to write about this morning
Yesterday once again I get that pain in a portion of my back that lasts a while
I must be sick I thought and felt very tired already in bed
I neglected to brush the dog’s teeth at night, knowing it was wrong
Failure to sacrifice for righteousness. Now a choice, weak instead of strong
I knew I would hurt more as a result. I tossed and turned most of the night.
No position could alíviate the pain that now spread to my entire back.
Not waking up or my beloved’s most thoughtful and loving message.
I dare not ask for pain medication as a form of penance and chose to go on.
The whole time sitting in prayer it hurt, until, towards the end of the hour
Got on my knees, face displaying more pain, willing to endure it just God.
Not more than just a few minutes in prayer unexpectedly it all disappeared.
Complete mobility, as if nothing had ever occurred, with no pain or any symptoms.
Having had these acute back aches before which lasted more than a week
I knew on this second day, a miracle just happened. Maybe not a big one
But big enough for me as I was in a constant world of pain.
That’s just it. God wants us to stick out our necks when it seems impossible
To act upon any opportunity to sacrifice including the hardest battles
To have faith in the most challenging times despite its dark appearance
To step outside the box, be exceptional. What it takes to get to Heaven.
He wants opportunities to show how much He truly cares
And the wonder of His glorious might, so impressively out of sight
Push through no matter what gets in the way, sick, tired, or weak.
Sad, hurt, discouraged, disappointed, or of a broken spirit, be in sync with His will
Be it a good result or not anything He decides, let it be well with us.
The greatest miracle is His love and the mercy it involves
Everyone needs to know He is the God of the impossible, unbelievable things
If we do anything for Him, He will sweep us off our feet, and leave us astonished.
Faith of a mustard seed means we won’t even think it twice
But trust, wait, and see the goodness of His ways any time or whatever price
