Oh, sweet, loving, gracious Lord, how we adore the with all heart and soul
So very sorry for when we hurt you by our weakness, lack of love, and faith
If thinking it’s no big deal or a minor sin, we think of You on the cross
To love You above all things, first and foremost, rebuke any evil
If reluctant to fight, bear or sacrifice for gratitude and righteousness
think of how there has never been a bigger sacrifice than that of Christ
To pray as much as possible especially for wisdom and discernment
That we are vigilant of sin and the strength to do His will
No sin too small, my Lord, who works for our favor and sustains us
This world can’t fathom the goodness of the ultimate sacrifice and loss
Or possibly imagine how holy, good, and deserving of our love You are
We would all fall to our knees in tears and promise never to sin in any way
In awe and disbelief of such greatness, simultaneously in great sorrow for who we’ve been
I suppose that will be like the day we meet our maker live as if it is today
Oh God, putting aside all You do for us, we mostly want to love You best
Nothing in this world or desire of the flesh is worth it, for You are everything
Let You be the firm tower in which we build our faith and acquire fulfillment
Despite toil and terror, praise on our lips, even if there isn’t rest
Thank You for our lives, graces, and blessings. May peace reign in our hearts
Oh Christ, help us live for You in all we do; we humbly pray
Guided by Your Holy Spirit to reflect His precious face
The price You paid,(John 3:16) with loyal love and mercy, constant in Your embrace
