God doesn’t have to prove himself for me to be happy with Him (Hebrews 11:1)
That is what faith is all about, only good things come from Him (James 1:17)
So is it right to be mad at Him? When dark times come from the evil one (Psalm 23:4)
As was said in church, because someone did argue with God in the bible (Matthew 15:22-29)
What others do does not define us or predict our actions (Ephesians 1:3-14)
God allows us to experience hardship so we can grow (James 1:2-4)
Lessons are good for the soul, as we know God’s in control (Psalm 94:19)
We may not make sense of some tragedies that pierce the heart (Isaiah 55:8)
As in the Texas flood for which we are all praying for (James 5:14-15)
I can’t imagine the horror and pain of such a terrible loss (Isaiah 41:10)
My consolation is that “precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His holy ones (Psalm 116:15)
I imagine that those He allowed to be swept away are in Heaven (Isaiah 57:1, Proverbs 16:4)
Heaven next to Him must be the most excellent, happiest place (Psalm 16:11)
No longer any pain, nothing but peace and joy standing with Him face to face (1 Peter 5:10, Revelation 21:4)
Oh, loving sweet embrace it must be once forever with Him (Psalm 28:7, Psalm 34:8)
God is our comfort, and we hope that He consoles those left behind (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
To those poor families, God is closest to the brokenhearted Psalm 34:18, Psalm 147:3)
Not much we can do but pray that they know, crosses turn salvation (Philippians 1:19)
The bigger the cross, the higher call to holiness and potential (Ephesians 3:20)
A Saint once said When people discover the benefits of the cross (Romans 6:11)
There will come a day when people envy those who experience afflictions (Psalm 119:71)
God is good and gracious, that we become more holy every cross (Romans 8:28)
It’s more of a gain, unbeknownst to us, from every loss (Philippians 3:7-11)
And it hurts much, so I offer it up and endure thanks to His grace (1 Peter 2:19)
God is my strength, He will not let me suffer very long (Psalm 73:26)
I don’t have much choice but to call on Him as I have always done (2 Peter 1:10)
He got me through everything, even what I thought would kill me (Job 13:15 )
He never left my side, replacing sorrow with peace against the tide (John 16:33)
Don’t remember arguing with God or asking why (Proverbs 20:3)
Just that He must not love me to allow so much to happen (John 3:16)
But I was wrong, He loved me even more because I had it rough (Matthew 10:37-39)
It taught me how to be, to His glory, how to love, and made me tough (Isaiah 43:7)
Yet with a tender heart that only living it, brings about such a compassion (Psalms 145:9)
Love so divine, when it’s hard to understand, I focus on His passion (Romans 5:8, John 3:16)
