The Bread of Life

We Christians believe the Bible is accurate in everything it says (2 Corinthians 4:6)

Word by word, inspired by God, every author arrived at the truth (John 14:26)

Without knowing each other due to the Holy Spirit ( 1 Corinthians 12:13)

So when Christ said, “This is my body and blood do this in memory of Me” (Luke 22:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:24-25)

I take that moment of receiving Christ as the most sacred in Mass (Matthew 26:26-28, Mark 14:22-24)

The last supper has taken place in mass for over 2,000 years (Matt. 26:28, Luke 22:19,1 Corinthians 11:24)

It is Christ incarnate that the Eucharist turns into (John 6:53)

So when receiving Him, I am in awe as we become one with His Son (John 1:12)

What a blessing to visit Him at His house, where we are one (Psalm 84:4)

It’s a God placed on my tongue, not my hands nor teeth will touch it (Luke 22:16-20)

As it melts whenever God decides, I am in deep thought of His sacrifice (Philippians 2:6-8, 1 John 3:16)

This is what we have as a source of salvation, for it is Christ Himself (John 6:35)

We are weak and we fumble in deed and thought (2 Corinthians 12:9)

“Our daily bread”, our greatest strength aside from confession (Matthew 6:11)

And so in mass they say, this, His body and blood will take all sin away (John 6:54, Matthew 26:28)

And the cup of salvation assures we don’t go astray (Psalm 116:13)

The many Eucharistic Miracles increase our faith (John 6:51)

But the gift of receiving Him in a state of grace is unparalleled (Romans 5:17)

Though we may not be aware, the blessing is enormous (Psalm 66)

If we pay attention, we will see how we are better off than before (Psalm 103:2)

Little by little in His good time, we will prosper and know more (3 John 1:2)

How good is our God and Father to remind us of Him this way (Psalm 139:16-19)

What will carry us through, His word and precepts as we pray (Psalm 119)

Life is better with a relationship with Him any day (Romans 15:5)
