Merry Christmas; Christ within

Emmanuel, glory to God in the highest; what a victorious day (Matthew 1:23, Isaiah 7:14)

The baby Jesus has arrived to gladden our hearts (Luke 2:10-11)

The miracle of Christmas is the word made human (John 1:14)

So His love can be possibly born in our human selves (1 John 4:9)

What gifts do we have for Him but the best we can do (Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11)

Being our best living His will, even if it’s difficult or hurts (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, Philippians 4:13, Hebrews 12:1-2)

Rebuke the noise and business of life that gets in His way (Matthew 6:33)

Placing loved ones first before self is how we are like Christ (Philippians 2:3-4)

Willing to sacrifice and be last, is how we make Him first (Mark 9:35)

Love as He does in kindness revering the golden rule (Matthew 7:12, Luke 6:31)

And suppose it comes back as Jesus also has gifts for us (Ephesians 4:7-11, 1 Peter 4:10, Luke 6:38)

He will soften hearts and open eyes, I fervently pray (Ezekiel 36:26)

The conversion of sinners, beats every gift any day (James 5:20)

Where nothing can steal our joy and divine peace remains (Nehemiah 8:10, Psalm 51:12)

Oh the glory and victory to be in His grace (Ephesians 1:6, Corinthians 15:57)

The comfort and confidence of Heaven’s embrace (Psalm 23:4, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4)

No sweeter calm than His presence and seeing His face (Psalm 17:15)

The beauty of living for Him is that our love grows (Philippians 1:9, 1 John 4:16)

Many don’t understand that I don’t fight back as most would (Matthew 23:3)

Not to be like the world but more of Christ; we are His (Romans 12:2)

Justice is not ours, but God’s; we walk away and forgive (Romans 12:19)

God has been merciful to us, so we would rather give than receive (Acts 20:35)

Hoping it produces joy as He has been nothing but good (Proverbs 10:28)

Making room for Christ is to seek Him, as He dwells within (Ephesians 3:17)

By trying our best to obey; call on Him to eliminate every sin (1 John 1:9)

When God has us, there are no losses, with Him, always a win (Romans 8:31, 1 Corinthians 15:57)
