God is the Cure

I heard the priest say; “Accept His will even if it’s sleeping in” (Psalm 127:2)

I felt a sign of relief for going back to sleep (Psalm 3:5)

But wait I thought, what about sacrifice? (Hebrews 10:12)

So yes mistakes, happen. We can be weak and blind ( 2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

But we also don’t need to make a habit of those mistakes (1 Corinthians 15:33)

Or we slowly stray away, unaware that we no longer care (Deuteronomy 29: 18)

My bad, this time, but try to do it right the next day (Romans 7:21)

It’s not about always getting it right but about always trying (Galatians 6:9)

Not caving in to the ways of the world, constantly fighting (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

Sometimes it’s about practice, consider that His will (Matthew 7:24)

Grateful for every opportunity even if it frustrates (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Then the next day even if half the sleep stay up (Matthew 26:45)

And try to be constant and we relapse less and less (Philippians 4:13)

The narrow road is hard work at least within our means (Matthew 7:14)

Such as steadfast virtue which is to abide by every law of God (1 Corinthians 15:58)

No room for compromise to a God who sacrificed His life for us (Matthew 6:24)

If we are faithful in the small things then the bigger things …(Luke 16:10)

…we could not achieve will be possible as well (Matthew 19:26)

Such as being kind to someone who is being very rude to us (Romans 12:17-19)

Start the day with sacrifice and prayer and watch Him provide (Psalm 5:3)

Peace beyond understanding, joy divine, and holy strength (Philippians 4:7)

Vigor, courage a willing spirit, powerful prayer, and great wonders (Isaiah 40:31)

If not for us, then for our kids our people, His lovely creatures who need us to step up (Proverbs 22:6)

This spiritual battle turned intense, the more holy we must become (1 Peter 1:15-16, 2 Corinthians 7:1)

Pray more, love deeper, forgive unconditionally, and give even when we can’t (Luke 6, 1 Peter)

The Lord is our salvation, do for Him, He takes care of us (Isaiah 12:2)

Practice discipline, forget the flesh, forget the world, it’s all about Him (Isaiah 43:18-19)

No genius or amount of money will do when the world hits hard (Luke 1:37)

And it will, as His children, we must all die to live in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:15)

For God can do what money cannot buy and there is a cost (Psalm 49:6-9)

To love Him as He loved us first so perfectly on the cross (1 John 4:19)

The cross that aches the heart still I seek His will every result (Proverbs 13:12)

Pray for justice for the sake of others offering it up (Proverbs 31:9)

Gracious mercy to convert sinners especially within (James 5:19-20)

Tribulations are worth it if they eliminate all sin (1 Peter 4:1-2)

God of love and mercy, holy and good, You can count me in (Psalm 86:5)
