God is the Cure

I recall not wanting to sin and having a distaste for the cross (Romans 7:24-25, 2 Corinthians 5:21)

I still dread to offend God but I now have gratitude in trials (Psalm 77:11)

In testimony, Mary was substituted for another name erroneously (Matthew 28:1–9)

Not once but twice by two different witnesses (Deuteronomy 19:15)

Not a surprise as I was praying the rosary the whole time (Matthew 6:7)

Not by me as unworthy as I am but from my lips to hers (Isaiah 6:5, Jeremiah 15:19)

His blessed Mother and ours who has her Son’s ear (Luke 11:27-28)

And the God of Miracles showed His face that day (Acts 2:22)

God of Mercy and love thank You for Your help and the Heavens above (Psalm 108:4)

I don’t want to ever be in a place where I don’t depend on God (Proverbs 3:5-6)

To experience His wonders and see Christ in all that happens (John 14:12)

The overkill, scare tactics, targeted for my faith, doesn’t matter (Joshua 24:14-15)

God is bigger I say, wait on the Lord, watch and pray 🙏 (Psalm 27:14)

I would rather the miracles in which I can offer up the suffering (Colossians 1:24)

Than miracles of prosperity, I live to serve Him in any way (Job 36:11, Psalm 35:27)

And so the war continues, no longer my fight but always His (Matthew 24:6)

Inspired by the good it will bring because He is (Psalm 145:9, Romans 8:28)

“I am Who I am”, the light of the world; glorious salvation (John 8:12, Exodus 3:14)

Victory predestined for His own even before creation (Exodus 3:14)

Every battle is won because God graciously offered His son (Romans 8:32, 1 Corinthians 15:57)

So let the storm rage on and the world crumble, let it be (Psalm 46:2, Luke 1:38)

To fulfill His righteousness, in all graciousness, now forever set free (Matthew 3:15, 2 Corinthians 5:21)

To a faith undeterred, whose life’s afflictions turned humble (1 Peter 5:6-7, Psalm 119:71)

Oh Divine Father, my love and my all, in Your name receive my call (John 14-16)

To His holiness and promises, never a deaf ear to our cries (Psalm 34:15-17)

Declaring His glory, love, mercy, and grace, in which hope never dies (Lamentations 3:22-23)
