Some feel uncomfortable saying that the Virgin Mary is the mother of God.
But God gives His people courage and a sound mind.
Birthing Christ who is God would make her God’s mother by default.
The fact that Christ was born of a Virgin makes Mary exceptional, most holy among us.
If we all have a mother why can’t God have one as well?
sharing the love making her our blessed Mother as He did from the cross.
An instrument of salvation from such a terrible loss.
Her prayers favor His ears and no son turns down a good mother.
Especially helpful for those of us who were abandoned by our parents.
We can have a Holy Father and Mother perfectly looking after us from Heaven.
To me, it is not so strange that God took care to consider woman special also.
Otherwise, Jesus would have appeared adult by God’s will as did Adam.
In the Bible, Christ refers to all of us as brothers under one God.
There is one begotten divine son Jesus Christ entrusted to Mary and Joseph.
Both new to parenting for which they have been given a pivotal role.
For generations her prayers echos through the rosaries pleading her aid.
Every time we say Mary she repeats Jesus bringing us closer to Him.
She is great solace when praying all day is of great desire.
Fighting the good battle daily for her sweet Son, our Lord whom we admire.
Her prayers our company joined with us to endure and for the salvation of souls
What a blessing to have such a mother less than God but bigger than us.
How selfless of Christ to share His Mother‘s comfort and loving caress.
The sweetness of God’s tender side, giving her children to bless.
