Ever wonder why God gave us a divine Holy Mother?
Above all of creation and Heaven like her, there is no other
I believe it could be to honor women, our works, trials, and triumphs
To highlight how graciously He gave us the awesome gift of birthing and being a mother
The unsung hero carrying many hats that most will not see
The one who heals every wound lends a shoulder to cry on
Relentless prayers daily for her loved ones and those of others
Carries a smile despite feeling down and more concerned about lifting the mood
The oil that keeps the wheel running, to assure we succeed
Giving of self, placing God and His love first, herself last is every mother’s win
Behind every successful man, there is a supportive woman they say
The one maintaining the balance and peace by charitable acts every day
Priests say, that being a nun there is no calling that’s greater
Maybe because they are mostly behind the scenes in fervent prayer
Our main goal is to be a saint as He wills. His Mother is the saint above all saints
All mentioned above is also our Heavenly Mother, just much more, unblemished and perfect
God did not want to promote single parenting by having just one father
For broken families, and raised by only one, everyone so that has always two parents
And for those of us who were not given the right mother, no better replacement
If by fear and intimidated to face God, we can go through our tender Mother
Who’s tears she sheds for us and smiles to her children that she holds so dear
A most precious chosen advocate praying on our behalf to her beloved Son
And to venerate the woman whom He must immensely adore
He didn’t miss a thing considering that detail we have such a doting father
Therefore behold the Virgin Mary, God’s exulted Mother
