Out of the mouths of babes comes words of wisdom. Praise God. Our children drive the message home as the chant “trick or treat”. In other words, “can you see we are being tricked to celebrate the Devil? Or are we wooed by the costumes, candy that will be overly consumed, drinking and immortality that we consider a treat. Kids don’t ever get tricked on Halloween it’s the adults that do thinking it’s innocent fun. But if we are not against it, we are for it. Unlike religious holidays such as Easter and Christmas morning most holidays are celebrated in the evening and not much good happens at night. We will know them by their fruits.
What makes Halloween unique is that the most evil occurs and celebrated. Should we also celebrate in unison if it is a betrayal to God? Who clearly said have nothing to do with anything that is of evil in any form. Should we look the other way because we aren’t directly experiencing it. The enemy will make evil appear innocent and fun at first even get you to believe things are going good for a while but eventually it wears off and we pay for bargaining with the dark side whether we are able to make the connection or not. Do we commit to God 100% or just when we agree? We all must meet our maker and the here and now determines our fate. Choose wisely. We Can’t serve both good and evil and only God truly loves us and his blessings last a lifetime unlike the temporary fake happiness the enemy entices us with. If Halloween is the greatest Evil feast there is, we shouldn’t be a part of it since it’s not of God, but we are and we should be as loyal to God as he has been to us. #GodisTheCure #InspiredByTheHolyGhost #Godisgood 10/31/21
