Refuge in the Storm

Thank you, Jesus, I don’t worry anymore because You got me (Matthew 6:25)

What seems to go wrong turns right according to His will (Romans 8:28)

If it doesn’t work out, You have something better in mind (Matthew 21:22)

When the waves come in, You are the steer the ship (James 3:4, Psalm 107)

The storm stands no chance with You by our side (Psalm 46)

You just want our love and His laws we should always abide (John 14:21, 23, Romans 13:8-10)

It’s not asking for much compared to all You do for us (Ephesians 3:20)

Jesus on the cross says it all what a great love from an omnipotent God (John 4:7–12)

Whatever happens, my prayer is that Your will be done (Luke 22:42, Mark 11:22)

Only because I know that prayer is always answered (Isaiah 65:24)

I don’t know at times what I want or what is good for me (Romans 7:15)

But the Holy Spirit guides me, reminding me of Your teachings (John 14:16-18, 26)

Thank You for saving my life and soul and keeping me from endless tears (Psalm 56:13)

Thank You for being my strength, dispersing shame and life’s fears (Isaiah 41:10, Psalm 28:7)

Thank You for my gifts, blessings, Your mercy, and goodness (Psalm 100:4)

My world is empty without You following Your word (James 2:14-26, Psalm 63)

To walk and talk like Jesus is my joy and peace that makes me complete (Philippians 2:2)

Help me to be and that I can love You best as You set me free (Galatians 5:1)

From the distractions, obstacles, and weakness should You will it (Philippians 4:13, Romans 5:3-5, Psalm 34:4)

Pour Your loving grace upon us kept in Your gracious embrace (Titus 3:4-5, 2 Peter 1:2)

Chosen before birth, not any one of us created in vain (Jeremiah 1:5, Isaiah 65:23)

For You, oh Lord, are divine beyond what words could ever explain (Ephesians 3:20)
