Many are often sorry for their mistakes and sins so we confess.
It is difficult not to relapse, and for that, we should pray every day.
That we stay in His grace and not fall for the Devil’s schemes.
Imagine we ask our child not to skip school. After apologizing does it again.
Repeatedly and the ramifications grow to try to discourage.
We can’t reward until the child shows steady improvement.
Or the spouse that betrays, how many times will we forgive?
Do we expect different from God? Could we be taking Him for granted?
His mercy is great but how would we feel if we were Him?
To be sorry is to try our very best and not to re-offense.
But we do and God’s love is greater, though we must try harder next time.
Otherwise, how do we get to a point of sinning no more?
To experience His wonders and realize eternal true peace.
To break from every chain even the unknown and feel that release.
It is but one life and no one knows their end. It can come at any time.
He called us by name, fearless and precious, and said you are mine.
Swayed by original sin we must struggle to take the narrow route.
What most do is worldly ways, it will be few that are truly devout.
As not most go straight to Heaven, some to purgatory, and less to His kingdom.
Pray for the rest; sin not, so it counts even more.
Strive to grow in virtue and find remorse like never before.
Blessed are who fear God; He tends the loyal heart that is contrite.
Aiming to love Him to the fullest as we are geared toward His divine light.
Much love and God bless,
Aimee Cabo
