The Lord is our Salvation

All the gracious promises He offers for just loving Him

He could have had the attitude of “You owe me; I gave you life and died for you.”

There will be significant consequences if you don’t abide in me

Instead, He is gentle in His ways, how He corrects as a good Father does

But to also grant us wonders beyond expectations or imagination

That we have nothing we lack, and we can step on the serpent and cobra

We will not be moved, and no harm will come our way

For He will command His army of Angels to guide and protect (Psalm 91:11)

Delivers us from evil and equips us with His armor for every battle (Matthew 6:13)

Goes before us and wins the fight especially when we lost ours

“He will be with us, will not fail us, not forsake, we will not be dismayed” (Deuteronomy 31:8)

At constant work for our good and that others in most need (Romans 8:28)

Assuring that our works are holy and we prosper in all that we do (Deuteronomy 15:10, Psalms 1:3)

Showering us with love, joy, and peace amid the storm (Psalm 46)

Eternal mercy extended throughout every generation, no matter what (Psalm 103:17)

A contrite heart He receives with open arms despite how far we fell (Psalm 51:17)

And the promises go on and on, too many to count or come up with

Look to the Psalms, and we will see how great He is

Holy is His name and goodness that leave us not the same (Psalm 105:3-5, Luke 1:49)

We are born in Christ brand new, once dying to the world and old self (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Then, to have every prayer answered to act in His will, how we rejoice (Psalms 116)

Let our Lord be magnified, for He is the rest in our soul (Luke 1:46:)

The happiness divine that cannot be encountered if not for Him

Oh loving Christ, Holy Ghost, almighty God our greatest friend,

Our hope, courage, and strength from the start until the end
