God is the Cure

#MercifulPouringGrace

I sit to read the Bible, and the first thing I see is “Now cease scoffing

lest your bonds be tightened.” So I googled scoffing (Isaiah 28:22)

In slang, it means “an expression of scorn, derision, and contempt

Biblically, it means “to treat with insolent ridicule, mockery,

or contemptuous language. It’s a form of derision that often

involves rejecting truth, ridiculing righteousness,

and showing pride and resistance to correction.” (Isaiah 28:22)

Imagine experiencing a blessed life in family and gifts (Psalm 128:1-6)

Yet feeling resentful and being miserable when crosses come (Hebrews 12:15)

Yet poor people who struggle their whole life are grateful either way (Hebrews 12:2)

How much would that hurt God when we forget His benefits (Psalm 103:2)

Focusing on what is small compared to the greatness in our lives (Matthew 6:25-27)

Loose Faith when it’s not proven, even though He has always been there (2 Timothy 2:13)

Providing for us and rescuing us whenever no one else can (Acts 4:12)

He has given us much more than ever fathomed or asked (Ephesians 3:20)

What if we lose it all, start over to appreciate what we overlooked (Isaiah 42:8)

I was that person, orphaned as a single mother in destitution for 10 years (Matthew 5:3)

I was blessed to have needed Him, for I had no other choice but faith (Romans 14:22)

I would not have gotten this far if not for His goodness and grace (Romans 11:22)

Nor would I have survived without His divine love, hold, and embrace (Romans 5:8)

For He is holy, loving, and merciful, despite our weakness, knows the heart (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Oh God, sweet Jesus, thank You for being so good, our everlasting help (Psalm 118:1)

Remind us that shelter, work, food, family, and health are what matters (Matthew 25:44-45)

Poor souls, if only we knew the right attitude of gratitude is how things improve (Romans 8:28)

What does it take to get to that point of “God I need You, I’ll do it Your way” (Colossians 1:10-12)

I fervently pray we open our eyes to the devil’s disguise (Matthew 12:31-32 )

That we can always turn to You, gracious and true, never deaf to our cries (Psalm 143:7)

Miracles happen when believing in God, His love, mercy, and might (Hebrews 4:16)

Give it to Him, who has never lost this continuous fight (John 10:28)

We overcome evil and darkness, with His word; the ultimate light (John 8:12)

To have faith saves us amid trials, not stress and doubt (Ephesians 2:8-9)

It’s when the storm hits that we must faithfully be ever devout (Psalm 46:1-4)

Much love always, and God bless you generously
