God is the Cure

Don’t settle for less

#MercifulPouringGrace

We choose joy and peace over stress, misery, and fear (Romans 15:13, John 14:27, Psalm 34:17)

Abide by His ways and He will be our God keeping us near (John 15:7, Jeremiah 7:23)

As with every sin, we become more distant and unaware (Psalm 51:3)

As pickpocket closes our eyes to the slow theft of our soul (2 Corinthians 4:4)

“Jesus meek and uncomplaining” is how the Stations of the Cross prayer starts (James 5:9)

“Do all things without grumbling or disputing,” (Philippians 2:14)

Those who don’t endure the cross cannot be His disciples (Luke 14:27)

To complain of what is given by God, good or bad (Psalm 142)

Or to gossip or grumble about another is divisive; not like Christ (Proverbs 16:28, Proverbs 20:19)

There is a difference between gossip and exposing evil; there must be a threat (Ephesians 5:11, 1 Timothy 5:20)

At the forefront should be treating others how we would like done to us (Matthew 7:12)

To be like Christ is the only way to live and feel complete (Colossians 2:10)

It takes silence when we want to yell, love when we are hated (Matthew 5:43-44)

Bringing our burdens, complaints, and pain to Christ in prayer (Matthew 11:28-30, 1 Peter 5:7, Philippians 4:6-7)

Do good to those who do us wrong, sacrifice for God (Luke 6:27-28)

Sacrificing for righteousness and gratitude are His precepts (Psalms 50:14-15)

Virtuous deeds when there is no return and without needing to (Luke 6:35-36)

Giving of self, making self last, denying the flesh also helps (Matthew 16:24, Mark 8:34, Luke 9:23)

Showing no resistance, letting go, and giving it to God turns out best (Romans 8:28, Romans 12:19, 1 Peter 3:9)

A peacemaker among adversity takes a load off the chest (James 3:18)

Generosity, compassion, and justice go hand in hand (Isaiah 1:17)

Love beyond measure as He drew that line in the sand (Jeremiah 31:3)

If we haven’t tasted His Holy divine goodness, we settle for less (Hebrews 6:4)

If all of us knew how lovely it is to experience Him fully and always feel blessed (Ephesians 3:19)

There would be no sin that we would commit or fail any test (John 3:6)

Much love always, and God bless you generously
