As we start our morning duties Bobby says “I am so tired
I tell Him that is good. Now it is more than a chore but a sacrifice
Especially when we have the freedom to go back to bed
And I know we are expected to sleep extra when sick
Though many times no matter how long I have had symptoms
They disappear when I wake up anyway by believing God will provide
At one point it felt like we were sick all the time but does life stop because of it
By the grace of God, I learned to longer fall for that trap
I got used to the fact that crosses arrive every day
Expect to feel worn out from battling all day but how great the reward
God alleviates the struggle by mercy and it helps a great deal when we pray
Nothing better than having faith, our God of miracles who never stops
Amazing is in so many ways making the impossible, possible all the time
To think we can do it alone and live life without Him is a crime
The way Christ suffered for the love He has for us while we are still sinners
Can’t compare to any virtue done or hardship we have to endure
Towards are sanctity, He will stop at nothing
so we can cure
It is not supposed to be easy though His grace provides rest
Works with us despite our falling short so long as we keep trying our best
The more we grow so does the Devil’s attacks but God has him in check
Allowing only so much, with His gracious touch taking us to new levels
By His might equips more than enough to take on the fight
Amid darkness, God as our champion illuminates even with the smallest light
