I fear the Lord not because He is mean or too strict (Proverbs 9:10)
but because He allows the consequences of my sin (Hebrews 12:6)
Whatever it takes so His glory shines, evil doesn’t win (Matthew 5:16, John 1:5, Romans 12:21)
It’s the only way we realize our wrongs if it happens enough (Galatians 6:7-8)
Blessed are those who get the consequences right away (Galatians 6:7-8)
So we can make the connection and try to improve (Romans 15:5)
And some of us just get used to so many things going wrong ( 2 Corinthians 5:17)
Or it’s just because, part of life, the crosses expected (1 John 1:8-10)
There are fewer useless storms, or I handle them better in a state of grace (Psalms 127:1-2)
As if we have more protection or are more blessed, the harder we try (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
He rewards us according to our virtuous actions, not satisfactions (Matthew 16:27, Matthew 16:24)
Not to be content with doing the least possible to get by (Colossians 3:23-24)
But the most we can do until the day we die (1 Corinthians 13:8)
It’s true that He spared us from sickness and heals every disease (Psalm 103:3)
I have lived it and still do as my commitment continues to increase (Philippians 1:25)
In faith, endurance, gratitude, and attitude, thanks to His grace (James 1:2-4)
It’s about putting in 100% no less in everything we do (Mathew 25:29)
Willing to sacrifice when it’s difficult, not just follow through (Matthew 16:24-25)
With what is expected or easy and what we must do (Romans 12:18, Ecclesiastes 9:10)
We are all called to be saints, so we start being like them (Corinthians 1:10-17, 1 Corinthians 1:2)
To our human capacity, let God handle the rest (Proverbs 3:5-6, Ephesians 2:10)
We are to prosper as our soul does. This life is a test (3 John 1:2)
God is light, there’s no darkness in Him (1 John 1:5)
To fear Him is love, as it keeps us focused on His word and the above (Psalm 19:9, Proverbs 14:27)
These days, He is training us hard, so hang on tight for the ride (Hebrews 12:7, 11)
To His divine goodness and love awaiting His bride (Ephesians 5:25–27)
