I noticed how good things start out difficult while bad things are smooth throughout
Nothing good worth doing comes easy is a common saying
What is of God, Satan tries to sabotage with doubt, fear, frustration, and attacks
Keep the faith, stay determined, and it will prosper, not just turn out alright
God’s blessings are supposed to look like it’s not going to happen
So we can get stronger in our resolve, knowing God is on our side
It’s not uncommon that many outstanding accomplishments come from rough beginnings
Because my life had many dark times, I thought I would never make it
That I was destined to suffer and didn’t see a purpose for being born
But after suffering a while, look who I became: a child of God on the rise
To His glory, helping others discover the peace and joy He brings
Open to His Holy spirit and no longer a slave to Satan’s lies
So when there are tribulations, be glad and steadfast in our faith
God’s grace will not only see us through, but bless us incredibly
Whether it be within, our families and loved ones, it gets bad before it gets good
The longer it takes to bear the burden the greater the reward
The same for this country; it can only go down so much until God lifts it up
It is to fight for what is right, stand in the fire and not let it burn,
those who endure to the end, He promised a crown we will earn (James 1:12)
Declare to be the head not the tail by following His commandments (Deuteronomy 28:13)
And be glad to be living in an upside-down world full of dark days
It has been in peril for a long time; we just didn’t know it
Many awakened to a new movement of His chosen that has surfaced
Rejoice in the storm; the sunshine that follows is brighter the ever before
For You, oh loving Lord are faithful and full of grace
We are coming back to our roots; the source of salvation
Because God is always good, rescues, and hasn’t forsaken this nation
