God is power within, restores the joy of His salvation
Great reward His love, attention to all of creation
Born from darkness first breath at God’s light
Renewed a new spirit when given sight
To have Christ’s heart and kindle in us His divine love
Grant peace and sweet senses sent from above
The weak He turns strong often confessed
Creator and eternal Holy Spirit blest
To know who is God is to be still: sure that He will
Refuge and fortress; graces awaiting to fulfill
Grown much with God, make us His own
To sin prone, rest in His arms alone
Lord, teach us to listen so we hear His soft voice
Allow discernment to make the right choice
Stay by our side count on God to provide
