A marriage is bringing two people in love together as one
His thoughts and beliefs should be mine in constant mutual agreement
Being pure at heart is to believe blindly like a kid which is required for Heaven
To be supportive no matter what despite negativity or conflicting ideas of Satan
Evil manipulates us into thinking we are our own person with independent views
The same sense of entitlement, spoken of in dislike, we practice if we disagree
Furthermore, pride, as we don’t believe in God, who knows better
When He said love is to believe all things no reason to question or argue
Not willing to abide by His precept in considering the other better than us.
Or treat others as we would like done to us and prioritize what is correct
Satan aims to divide and conquer, the precursor to many divorces
And the best way to sever from grace by the deadliest sin being pride
While God is about unifying which uplifts and promotes joy, peace, and love
Same with our loved ones, as kids can say really off things
“Mom, you are slow” I might think I am fast but instead say, “I will work on it”
At the very least if we can put being right aside say thank you for telling me
To nourish a relationship we validate by listening, caring, and believing
To treasure the person, make them feel important and loved.
Crucial to love each other as much or even more than we do ourselves
As most parents love their children more than theirselves, unconditionally as God does.
What God teaches us is not to be stringent but the best way to live
That we should prosper in abundance. So much more He is willing to give.
Not much opportunity for graces and blessings if not following through
Every one of His words matters not what
at the moment makes sense to you.
The road is difficult and narrow. Sacrificing the ego shouldn’t be much.
Pray to be released from what has us chained by His loving touch.
To soften our hearts, help us refrain from the blindness and darkness of sin
That we heed His voice, hasten to His, and keep Him within.
