The foundation of faith or at least a vital component is love
For there is no faith that is not truly and fully composed of love.
Our primal goal is to love our God above everything and completely commit.
We must fear the Lord to genuinely love Him and follow through in His steps
Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Psalm 103:13, NASB: Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.
Is there much mercy or goodwill should we not care about Him?
fearing God is to be in awe with Him in honor and fervent humility.
To respect all that He said and keep us correct to avoid unnecessary pain.
God loves us so much that He never gives up on saving our souls
God’s sanctification is out of charity and mercy which allows hard nocks.
Praying and doing good are not the only things required. He did more.
Resisting temptation and sacrifice will also be essential to growing in holiness.
Perfect obedience, remember Adam and Eve? What makes us better?
He is the same God as in the past, now, always, and forever.
It wasn’t about the apple but not listening to Him so a lifetime of suffering.
If life seems comfortable and we always give in to the flesh feeling all is okay,
Then we will be stagnant and not get very far in sharing the cross.
We must do what is difficult for the road to Heaven is narrow
Not many can endure until the end and God said only the few.
Any time we have the opportunity to go above and beyond we must.
Act in ways pleasing to God that most are not willing to do.
Dare to be different, step outside the box and emulate the saints.
Not concerned about what people think but more focused on where we are with God
A fighter now and a champion then, for the glory of God, to whom we bow down
If not for the love of God or fear, then for the sake of the others we pray for.
That He lends us His ear and answer our cry and think of how they need us to try.
Does a parent fulfill the wishes of a child who misbehaves, doesn’t do or listen?
It is more that this child needs corrective measures to prepare for adulthood.
The bigger the sacrifice in doing what’s right the more we comply and fight.
Giving of self, surrendering our will to Him even when drenched in the rain.
Don’t mind storms, the Lord is with us, we are the chosen and this is His reign.
