Church, grounds so sacred unworthy to walk on, for He is so great
that my feet take a slow pace with the most gentle of steps
For there is no greater goal than to be like Christ and live by His words.
In God’s house, I stare at His lovely face for it is He alone whom I came to visit
In awe with Christ’s image that most resembles what I dreamed of as a child
To be completely still as He said what better time than in His mighty presence.
Which Amplifies the experience as I also imagine the sermon is coming from Him,
Jesus looking so glorious up high and magnificent on the stained glass
A rare sight that can’t be seen at home but only at times when I close my eyes.
Not a word do I utter or song do I sing not worthy of hearing my own voice
There are evil distractions at times but I keep my focus on Christ
Who is my peace of mind and elevates my spirit at least for that time.
Lavishing that sweet moment where it is He all that I see
What an Honor to receive Him as we approach the alter humble as can be
That divine moment in which we unite an unbreakable bond dwelling in me.
Oh, sweet surrender to His beautiful holy ways that are perfect because so is He.
Precious body of Christ, we adore how You envelop us, sustain us and fill us.
Having no parents at a young age how great that God took their place
And the family I came to know as well as my brothers under one God.
How lovely the joined voices in prayer of the faithful fighting for the same cause.
Minds alike, hearts of flesh from the works of His hands guiding us.
My father’s house is where I lay my hat and feel that blissful rest.
Not to stop seeking Him, strengthened by daily bread, giving my best.
Those words full of hope and great wonder how amazing is God.
Oh sweet holy Lord how Your love radiates to the heart of the soul.
That most adore; who believe, even more, giving God their life to control.
Much love and God bless,
