Forgive us dear Father for our wrongs as we do for others.
Paraphrased from the Lord’s Prayer given to us by God himself.
No prayer is more powerful and a good indicator of how we should be
That we must forgive to be forgiven as God returns what we do for His people
We know You treat us as we treat others as in St Faustina’s prayer
Should we be suspicious or disparaging of one another, or expect it back
Someone will have the same thoughts of us and maybe two fold
If we are not consistent in our duties at home so will not be with our employees
If we act in pride, others do also in the same way, and worse each repetition
If we are careless, our family, friends, and stranger will not be careful with us.
Difficult to notice faults when committed yet obvious when it happens to us.
If we don’t care to do things right it will come back in our children at least
If we are not diligent and responsible can we expect others to do the same?
God worked it out in this way otherwise how would we know it’s not nice?
The more effort we put towards God the more He does for us.
When we think suddenly everyone is so nice, it’s because we have grown
We receive what we dish out and kindly promote peace and love
When tolerating crosses, we ease the one we cause for God
If we don’t judge, the less likely others will jump to conclusions
By not gossiping, we are spared from others talking behind our back
We pray for mercy as God answers all prayers that are His will
He wants us to prosper and be holy in abundance that we are able to give
Our best self is to bear, hope, endure, love, and forgive
Lord forgive us for not knowing better and thank You for opening our eyes
Grateful for His ways, compassion, and patience; always heeding our cries
Much love and God bless,
