How to be perfect

It seems impossible to be perfect, and no one claims to be

It is understandable since we don’t quite grasp what perfect is

The world tells us we can’t be perfect due to being human

We may have limitations, but with God nothing is impossible

Jesus said, be perfect as is my father, therefore indicating it’s possible

And if we can do anything through Christ who strengthens us

Then, the sky is the limit so long as we surrender entirely to Him

To say we cannot be perfect is to say there is something God cannot do

It will not be by our works but if He wills it and our desire to follow Him

Easier said than done, yes it’s hard to believe we can have flawless days

Some things are beyond our control as it’s part of the learning curve

What we can control is how well we do things in our daily tasks

If we can’t be perfect in resisting sin, at least we can do things perfectly

Saint Teresa that it’s not what you do but how much love is put into it

To do things with love is to aim for excellence and not miss any detail

Also, for the love of God and He knows us, that we can do better

I fear the repercussions of failure to do which is a sin, allowing 7 demons in

When we do things to the best of our availability, it will transfer in other ways

As prioritizing what is right becomes a habit, not just on what we do

Then we try to pray with heart, attend mass wholeheartedly

We do our best and leave it to Him to take care of the rest

Seek God, practice virtue, and love others as we should

Being perfect takes effort, not on our own but our great God, who could
