I choose

I choose to get up early and have a productive day

I choose Jesus and all His good works to shine in my life

I choose His complete protection and help. Nothing is better than going His way.

A day full of blessings and confidence in Him because I chose to obey

Yes, it’s difficult denying the flesh and sacrificing, but well worth it

The narrow road is supposed to be hard, as few will find it (Matthew 7:13-14)

I don’t even know if I have found it. There is so much I still have to learn

Yet He is so gracious in leading the way despite my weakness

When I give it my best in doing what’s right, glorifying Him by my duties

It’s perfect timing, great decisions, any crosses I handle with peace

I try not to sleep more than I need to; six hours is enough

Thank you, Jesus, that I don’t have an issue falling asleep

And that those hours I sleep well with only sweet dreams

If I sleep extra, my day doesn’t go well, and I don’t have enough time

The first hour past the six hrs of sleep, I start having nightmares

I don’t handle things as well, and it is night and day from blessed to cursed

I get it what He wants from me, and I also want my prayers to be stronger

The more I do for God, the more He does for me, so let it be

There are so many people I want to help, so I must be virtuous for His sake

I eat only what I need, grateful for three meals a day; it wasn’t always the case

If I fail, as I often do, I don’t doubt His mercy or amazing love

I choose to accept the cross even when it hurts, as He did, too

God, thank You for free will, but please provide the wisdom to know what is right

Offering it up every chance we get to dedicate our all to Him

Making every moment count, knowing each day I awake is a blessing

Thinking of how many different ways I can please Him and praying always

He keeps me in line, and in all I do, God should be on my mind

Don’t cave into the world but His Holy Spirit and a treasure you’ll find
